We hope everyone is keeping well out there. It's been a while since we posted a status update so we wanted to make you aware of our current level of service.
We are operating our online service as normal. Items are shipping on time as advertised and we are here for any customer service enquiries during normal opening hours. Couriers and Royal Mail are working as normal though please be aware that standard post services are occasionally taking a little longer to arrive than they are supposed to.
We are now open for in-store browsing during our normal opening hours. You have full access to the store for browsing items. If you can shop alone or in no more than a pair that would be greatly appreciated. All customers should wear masks (unless they have a specific medical reason not to) and maintain 2m distance from staff/other shoppers at all times. Our staff will follow the same rules.
It continues to be a difficult balancing act when it comes to demoing items. We want you to be able to do this when thinking about a purchase but we must also ask that you do not pick up items/ask to demo something that you are not considering purchasing. Any demoed items that are not purchased will be carefully cleaned and taken off sale for 24 hours.
You will need to ring the doorbell to access the shop as the main entrance will be locked. At the moment we are selling a lot more online than during normal times and when we don't have customers in store our staff are busy dealing with online sales.
Please also be aware that the industry is suffering from supply issues at the moment as a consequence of factories having been closed and global shipping delays. Guitars in particular are not as freely available as normal. We are hoping this will begin to resolve as we head towards the end of the year.
Our teaching rooms are open and we are gradually increasing our provision of music lessons. We now have slots available for new students and will be posting a further update on this soon.
As always, we hope this all sounds sensible based on current guidance, we will keep this way of working under constant review as guidance changes. If you have any queries on this information please get in touch and we'll be happy to help.
