Hardcase Size Guide

The size given in the product title is the manufacturers quoted shell size of the actual drum the case is designed for.

The sizes quoted for Diameter A & B, plus the minimum and maximum heights are the internal size of the case. These measurements will be larger than the quoted case size to accommodate all hardware on the drum.

  • Diameter A

    • Total diameter including the hoops, lugs, bass drum legs, snare strainer or tom mounting system.
    • Please add 1" (25mm) for clearance

  • Diameter B

    • Total diameter of the drum including the hoops and lugs only.
    • Please add 1" (25mm) for clearance

  • Diameter A & B

    • Combine the two measurements  to find the perfect case size
    • Extra space in the corner of the case allows room for the mounting system/snare strainer. 

  • Internal Depth (Minimum)

    • Minimum height is the measurement when the case lid is fully closed. 

  • Internal Depth (Maximum)

    • Maximum height includes 2" (50mm) overlap.

  • Drum Height

    • Total height including hoops.
    • The measurement should be between minimum and maximum heights quoted for the case.
