Ludwig Legacy

The classic vintage 3-ply Legacy shell features a ¹⁄₁₆" mahogany outer ply, ⅛" poplar core, ¹⁄₁₆" mahogany inner ply with a ¼" solid maple reinforcement ring.

The key is the centre core of poplar that adds focus to the rich low-end of the mahogany plies, creating a sonic warmth that vintage Ludwig drums are so famous for.

Each shell features a 30° inner cut bearing edge with a ¼" radius round over.

The maple 3-ply Legacy shell features a ¹⁄₁₆" maple outer ply, ⅛" poplar core, ¹⁄₁₆" maple inner ply. Also featuring a ¼" solid maple reinforcement ring.

A more modern twist on the original mahogany shell, the maple version delivers a bright presence, with plenty of low-end and exceptional focus.

Each maple shell features the same 30° inner cut bearing edge with a ¼" radius round over.

Ludwig offer three standard lug designs within the Legacy range.

• Classic Mini Lug (50mm)
• Classic Large Lug (65mm)
• Mech Lug* (Full Length) Not available on 20" deep bass drums

Both Atlas & Rocker series tom arms are available to mount rack toms directly above the bass drum.

Bass drums come undrilled as standard. Each mounting option has an additional cost. There is also an option to just have the mounting plate.

• Atlas, Triad or Classic mounts can be fitted to rack toms*
• Vibrabands can be fitted with either the Classic or Triad mounts*

Bass drum hoops are available in black, natural or colour matched. With or without an inlay*.

Elite series telescopic spurs are fitted as standard (top left). Options include (l to r) curved, folding and Atlas anchor*.
