Introduced back in 1972 and instantly thrust into the limelight from the pounding they took from the legendary John Henry Bonham. The drums, like the man, became an overnight sensation. Proudly handcrafted in the USA, many have tried to imitate, but nothing compares to a genuine Ludwig Vistalite.

Shell

Vistalite shells are made from a sheet of 6mm thick acrylic with reinforced seams for additions strength. Each shell has been hand-crafted exclusively by Ludwig in their North American factory since 1972.
Bearing Edge

Each precisely cut bearing edge is cut to a 45° angle that helps elevate sustain and deliver a crisp attack over a wide tuning range.
Sonic Grid

Vistalite drums deliver maximum presence and attack combined with thunderous volume.
