Gretsch USA Ridgeland Snare Drums

For nearly 40 years, Gretsch Drums have been hand-crafted in Ridgeland, South Carolina. It’s here that a team of dedicated artisans ensure that every drum possess “That Great Gretsch Sound.” Every detail is considered, utilizing the finest materials available today. To honour the dedication and passion of these artisans and the time-honoured tradition of drum making, Gretsch proudly introduce the USA Custom Ridgeland Snare Drum.

At nearly a half-inch thick, this stout shell made of maple, gum and poplar, features a hybrid bearing edge that combines the classic Gretsch 30º edge with an old-school Broadkaster-style roundover. The result is warm, full-bodied tone with plenty of attack.. Faithfully maintaining the Gretsch USA build, Ridgeland Snare Drums are equipped with sturdy 4mm die-cast counter hoops, the ever-popular Lightning Throw-off, 20-strand snare wires and Gretsch Permatone drumheads. To perfectly match your drum set, Ridgeland Snare Drums are custom made in any available Nitron, Satin or Gloss Lacquer finish.

There's sometimes a limited amount of Gretsch USA Ridgeland snare drums available from the main European warehouse in Germany. However, most people prefer to spec their perfect snare drum to match their drum kit. Nitron wrap and Satin finish drums are priced the same. Gloss Lacquer snares are priced slightly higher.
