Delivery and Shipping

7.1     Our policies and procedures relating to the delivery of products are set out in this Section 7.

7.2     We will arrange for the products you purchase to be delivered to the delivery address you specify during the checkout process.

7.3     We will use reasonable endeavours to deliver your products on or before the date for delivery set out in the order confirmation or, if no date is set out in the order confirmation, within 7 days following the date of the order confirmation; however, we do not guarantee delivery by this date.

7.4     We will only deliver products to addresses in the UK. Deliveries to non-mainland addresses may require an additional delivery charge.

7.5     Current delivery charges range from £1.95 up to £6.95 for larger items, most domestic services can be upgraded to the £6.95 express service. Any orders over £200 benefit from free express postage. Larger items going to the highlands or islands regions of the UK, (Excluding Northern Ireland) are charged at £14.95.

7.6     Express delivery is next working day, therefore orders made using the express option before 2pm Monday - Thursday will arrive the following day, Orders made before 2pm on Friday will arrive Monday. Orders made over the weekend (Saturday or Sunday will arrive Tuesday.

The EAD50 is now available for pre-order with a £100 deposit for delivery starting in March 2026. Yamaha expect demand to be high with the first batch allocated on a 1st-come-1st-served basis. We expect our store demo model to arrive with us 2nd week of March.

The Yamaha EAD50 transforms acoustic drumming with real-time sound customization and professional recording capabilities. Assignable Modifier knobs and high-quality effects let you sculpt your tone instantly, while the hybrid system adapts to your playing style. Connect the included DSU50 microphone or your own mics to capture multitrack audio via USB—ideal for recording, streaming, and production work. The companion EAD Touch and Rec'n'Share apps enable seamless practice sessions, video recording, editing, and sharing directly from your mobile device. Expand your creative possibilities without compromising the acoustic feel you love.

What is the EAD50?

EAD stands for Electronic Acoustic Drums and is a unique system from Yamaha that allows you to expand the sound of your drum kit in ways previously unimaginable to most drummers. By simply attaching a dedicated sensor unit which contains a high quality microphone and a trigger that, when combined allows you to capture the entire kit in high-quality stereo with a range of built-in effects.

The EAD50 has taken this concept first introduced with the EAD10 and pushed it to a whole new level. With unbelievable precision, acoustic sounds are merged with electronic sources which allows drummers to shape their sound as they play. If you want your drums to sound like a classic rock kit in a large arena, maybe an '80s gated reverb effect or modern electronic hybrid sounds, the EAD50 will do it all with incredible authenticity. With multiple additional inputs you can also add separate pads to trigger individual sounds, create loops and control backing tracks. 

However, that's far from all it does. with five XLR microphone inputs, you can mic up your entire kit (included DSU50 uses 2 channels) and send a customisable mix to the front of house engineer with everything done from one box, making set-ups quick, simple and easily repeatable no matter where you play. Use it as an audio interface to record your drums or live stream. Edit multi track sessions with the included Cubase AI software and share with Yamaha's Rec'n'Share app.
